Technical Lead - Software Development - Offshore

Our client is financially healthy and GROWING! Due to their growth, there is an immediate need to identify and attract an Engineering Technical Lead who will provide technical leadership for enterprise information technology efforts abroad (Ukraine, Russia), including enterprise application projects.
You will plan and oversee the development and support of product.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES of the Technical Lead-Software-Offshore Development:Self-initiates and designs with support of architects, codes and tests programs using the application development tool set.
Communicates and interfaces with all departments on the definition and interpretation of technical requirements for resolution or refinement within a team environment.
Offers expertise and technical assistance to internal and external customers.
Acts as senior technical resource for other applications development staff and non-technical business leaders.
Continually expands on individual skill set, staying current with marketplace technology and its potential integration into applications.
Contributes to the evaluation and recommendation of new software tools.
Contribute and adhere to development standard, methodologies and approved architectures.
Ensure that design and code reviews are completed and documentation is created.
Create systems that follow design criteria of reusable, extendible and stable components.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Technical Lead-Software-Offshore Development:Provide technical leadership on major projects; oversee developers assigned to projects to ensure they are following design and guidelines defined by technical lead and Architect.
Function autonomously with minimum direction and support from Manager of Technical Leads.
Escalate key issues and obstacles to management in a timely manner and recommend solutions to overcome those same challenges.
Research, analyze, design, and oversee implementation of new systems and enhancements for organization wide usage, employing finely tuned business analysis and technical skills, including full spectrum of system life cycle development.
Performs other duties, as assigned and directed.
REQUIREMENTS of the Technical Lead-Software-Offshore Development:
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum 6 years' experience building Web-based and server-based applications using Java technology stack.
Experience building and managing an offshore team.
Strong expertise in open-source frameworks such as Spring and MyBatis.
Familiarity with RESTful services.
Minimum 4 years' experience with project management and/or system life cycle development methodology.
Programming expertise with superior business analysis and technical skills.
Ability to serve as technological expert to junior and team staff and train on new applications.
Proactive in identifying and assimilating emerging technologies and applications.
Proven team lead with excellent organizational, project planning and team leadership skills.
Excellent analytical and interpretative skills.
Outstanding verbal, written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
