Our Support Coaches are flexible, creative positions, providing community or home-based goal development and skills training.
This position is a part-time, non-benefited position, offering flexible hours (afternoon, weekends) for around 4 - 10 hours per week.

Summary:
Provides individualized in-home/community skills training for individuals and children with disabilities.
Major
Responsibilities:
Ability to work 1:
1 with individuals at their home and in the community on goals related to independent living and community interaction.
Works on goals and skills acquisition with the individual in areas such as communication, social and recreation, ADL, safety skills.
Develop and implement goals in addition to collecting weekly data on client progress related to skill development, behavior concerns, and goal acquisition and completion.
Maintains regular communication with clients, families, Staffing Coordinator, Program Director and other professionals involved with caseload.
Assist with goals such as money management, socialization, cooking, shopping, nutrition, physical activity and others in settings such as the mall, movie theater, restaurant, library, and other community spaces.
Promotes independence, self-determination, and self-advocacy with the assigned individuals Ensures the health, safety, and wellbeing of clients and reports to appropriate parties as needed.
Works with families regarding intervention techniques if applicable.
Research community resources that are beneficial to client progress.
Qualifications:
High school completion or equivalent is a requirement.
1-2 years of working with individuals with developmental disabilities including autism is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient technology skills to be able to provide needed documentation and notes as well as clock in and out when working.
Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Teams, Word), documentation systems (Therap, Tadpole, Meditec), preferred.
Valid driver's license is required.
Ability to pass background check (CORI, SORI).
Schedule:
up to 20 hours per week (exact schedule is based on client's needs and employee availability, this may include evenings and weekends).
Pay Rate:
$16-20 per hour based on education and experience.
