Principal Duties and Responsibilities Ability to work in a cold environment for long periods of time 28 F Conduct routine sampling and auditing of processing and packaging Assist the Quality and food Safety Manager with the initiation and follow-up of corrective and interim action plans related to non-compliance issues Segregate and hold non-compliance finished products and ingredients according to Bertolino Foods' procedure Ensure compliance, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety Programs Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System Required to follow critical control point procedures per our HACCP Program Pre-Op documentation (MVP swab test) Calibrate thermometers as needed Scale Calibration check Conduct metal and gas checks Operational sanitation checks (MVP swab test) Finish product spec form Daily net weight check Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize daily work Other duties as assigned Scheduled hour flexes between 5:

30 pm and 2:
30 pm Monday through Friday, with availability to work overtime and weekends.
Qualifications 6
months of food safety manufacturing experience, preferably in the meat Industry Strong attention to detail Organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal communication skills Excellent communication skills (including listening, writing, and speaking) required Able to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, percentages) Critically and effective problem-solving skills Able to effectively analyze situations involving food/personnel safety Able to navigate Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Able to learn quality management software Able to use the internet professionally (research) High school diploma or general education degree (G.

) Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and move up to a max of 25 pounds The employee will be subject to work in a cold environment (28F) The physical activity of this position includes but is not limited to Routine walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, sitting, and visual activity Responsible for the accurate and efficient supervision and sanitation of the plant process equipment and work areas with a high standard of cleanliness.
Responsible for completing and ensuring the completion of required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
Must adhere to all company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and all Food Safety policies.
